WEDDING EVENT SPACES
Horseshoe Piazza & Court
Our property has an exquisite centerpiece - a picturesque gem situated in the midst of our historic grass courts. The horseshoe-shaped covered porch and meticulously manicured grounds are the perfect setting for al fresco dining and cocktails. The largest of all our venues, the Horseshoe Piazza and Court blend a relaxed feel with Newport elegance.
USTA Wing & Porch
This versatile indoor/outdoor space exudes a level of sophistication that truly makes a statement. TheUSTA Wing is an extension of our museum, spaciously transformed by high ceilings, a wall of glass French doors, and moveable exhibits. For a breath of fresh air, step out on the detailed porch and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the beautifully landscaped property.
Upper and Lower East Porch
Both the upper and lower East Porches are quaint spaces overlooking the spectacular grass courts. Limited availability, even in season, but they might just be the right fit for your special event.

Old Fashion Tennis Players
Bring the property's elegant ambience to life with a tennis match on Horseshoe Court, featuring players dressed in turn-of-the-century tennis apparel. Your guests will feel as though they've stepped right into Newport's Gilded Age.
Lawn Games
Aim. Toss. Score. Sip a cocktail and play a casual or competitive game of Cornhole or Giant Jenga! The games add an element of fun to every get-together.

Here, your guests can learn the history of the sport and its impact on society. Guests can also enjoy a guided tour or a leisurely walk through the galleries before cocktail hour.

Cullen was a delight to work with. He was very responsive and addressed all of our requests with professionalism, enthusiasm, and in a timely manner. We could tell he wanted this wedding to go just as well as we did. Fortunately, we had a nice sunny day so we didn’t have to implement Plan B for our ceremony, but we were comforted knowing there was a suitable backup for a rainy day in the USTA Wing second-story porch.
The horseshoe piazza accommodated our 70+ guests very comfortably, even with more distance between tables and less people per table due to Rhode Island’s COVID-19 regulations. We enjoyed planning everything with Cullen and everything went seamlessly the day-of. His staff was there to accommodate our needs and were there to ensure that our day was perfect. By having both our ceremony and the reception on the property, our guests could relax and enjoy the evening. Cullen's staff was able to transition the grass court from the ceremony to reception in no time. It is an incredible place to get married; it was the perfect place for our dream Newport wedding."
