On May 5, the Hall of Fame will be participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global movement that encourages people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The International Tennis Hall of Fame remains committed to our mission: to preserve and promote the rich history of tennis, celebrate the sport’s greatest champions, and inspire future generations.
This will be a challenging year for the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Due to COVID-19, our business operations are currently closed and our signature fundraising events will not be permitted to take place in the manner they were intended.
Now, more than ever, your donation is vital to continue programs and services at the Hall of Fame.
PRESERVE
Funds raised through #GivingTuesdayNow will be used to preserve and grow our collection of more than 25,000 objects, 300,000 photos, and 4,000 reels of film - all telling the history of the sport.
While we remain steadfast in our mission to preserve tennis history, preservation alone is not enough.
The future of our sport's history depends on our ability to take our collection global through our digital exhibits: Courting Fashion, Tins, Cans, & Cartons, and Smash Hit: The Evolution of the Tennis Racquet.
Additionally, your contribution is vital to the preservation and care for our National Historic Landmark property, which was the site of the first US Nationals (today’s US Open) in 1881. The 7-acre site in the heart of Newport is a special gathering place for our community and tennis fans around the world.

With your help we will continue to celebrate the legendary careers of our sport’s greatest champions and highlight their stories of dedication, integrity, and excellence.
The elite group of 257 tennis champions from 26 nations around the world has countless inspiring stories that demonstrate the values of the game that we tell through our TennisWorthy series.
You'll also help us continue to tell the incoming class' journey of how they became Hall of Famers in our Road to Newport video series that has become popular with fans around the globe.
INSPIRE
One of the many ways we inspire the next generation is through TeamFAME, the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s NJTL chapter.
The pandemic has placed a significant amount of stress on students and families. We have transitioned to an online enrichment platform to provide a sense of normalcy by continuing TeamFAME’s tutoring and homework help sessions.
Your participation in #GivingTuesdayNow will allow us to continue creating innovative solutions to keep these children, who are in great need, active and engaged with enrichment opportunities to grow in their love of the arts, history, culture, and developing in sport and the character benefits it fosters.
