Hall of Fame Open Tickets on Sale Now

Pro tennis will return to the historic grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame this July! The 2021 Hall of Fame Open, Newport’s ATP Tour event, will be hosted July 11 – 18.

The event returns to Newport following a one-year hiatus due to Covid-19. Fans will be able to see world-class pro tennis all week, and top it all off with an incredible weekend of celebration at the International Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

In planning for this year’s tournament, the International Tennis Hall of Fame is working closely with the State of Rhode Island and the ATP Tour, and will abide by all health and safety protocols put in place by those institutions. Fans may be subject to certain health protocols that could include temperature checks, mask-wearing, and social distancing. It is anticipated that health and safety policies will continue to evolve until closer to the event. The website HallofFameOpen.com will be kept updated current with COVID-related policies and all ticketholders will be emailed prior to the tournament with the latest updates.

The player field for the Hall of Fame Open will be released in mid to late June, and promises to feature some Newport fan favorites and rising stars on the ATP Tour.

On the weekend, the ultimate honor in tennis will be presented to incredible champions and inspiring leaders in the International Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This year’s ceremony will be held on the evening of Saturday, July 17, after Hall of Fame Open tennis is completed and it will honor both the Class of 2020 and Class of 2021, as last year’s ceremony was cancelled.

The inductees are Wimbledon champions Goran Ivanišević and Conchita Martínez, both from the Class of 2020, and the Original 9, the nine brave women who paved the way for women’s pro tennis, and legendary coach Dennis Van der Meer from the Class of 2021. 

Class of 2021 Inductee Lleyton Hewitt will not be able to travel to Newport for the induction ceremony this summer due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions. We will look forward to welcoming Lleyton to Newport in July 2022.

Ticket Details & A New Virtual Experience

Tickets for all events are on sale now! This includes tennis tickets for the Hall of Fame Open and Enshrinement Weekend ticket packages that include both the induction ceremony as well as celebratory dinners and special events.

New this year, the ticket for the Induction Ceremony is a separate ticket from the Hall of Fame Open tickets. The Induction Ceremony will not be held on the Stadium Court, but will instead take place on the Front Lawn Courts. However, fans who are attending the Hall of Fame Open are welcome to stay on property and watch the ceremony on the videoboard in the Stadium, if they prefer not to purchase a ticket for a seat in the Front Lawn Court area. Induction Ceremony tickets are $40.
